We hate to say it, but unfortunately things are more expensive. That’s just the way it’s going to be. At least in this lesson we can moan and groan about it a little bit in Portuguese.
Dialogue
A: Uma dúzia de ovos por favor.
B: Tá bom, 5 reais.
A: O que é isso, são ovos, não diamantes.
B: Sei, mas infelizmente está tudo mais caro.
A: A dozen eggs please.
B: OK, 5 reals.
A: What’s that, they are eggs, not diamonds.
B: I know, but unfortunately everything is more expensive.
Dialogue
