Total we talk to School teacher and nutritionist Kelly Fullerton aka 'The Curious Nutritionist'.
Kelly is an experienced primary teacher who has completed further training in nutrition and feeding therapy. She has combined her education and nutrition knowledge to cultivate curious conversations about food with school communities.
Kelly advocates for positive and developmentally appropriate learning experiences about food. She has worked with various community stakeholders in Australia and abroad - schools and other organisations to advise on safe approaches to nutrition education, create curriculum resources as well as teacher and health professional support materials and professional learning.
We chat about Kelly journey from typical diet culture to becoming a non-diet advocate and educator and she gives us some great ideas for advocating for our kids in a productive and constructive way that supports teachers.
