<p>When you’re ready to admit your limitations God starts His work.</p>

<p>The Letter of 3 John illustrates that Life at the King’s Table is not an individualistic existence. It is a communal life colored by intentional presence. In a culture made up with individuals that move further away from one another, 3 John exists as a prophetic illustration for the church.</p>

<p>The world would change if we built longer tables instead of taller fences.</p>

<p>So often as Christians, we live from a place of defeat and uncertainty. The final verses of 1 John, implore us that when we believe in Jesus, there are things that we can know to be certain. When we take on the confidence of the King, we can experience a victorious life.</p>

<p>You've already won.</p>

<p>When you are anchored in God’s love for you, you will experience the adventure of what He will do through you.</p>

<p>Many of life’s challenges come down to two simple questions, “what’s my problem?” and “what power do I have to overcome it?” 1 John 4:1-6 unpacks a problem that the people of God were facing, as well as the power they possessed to overcome. Our modern setting has similar problems. Thankfully, followers of Jesus have the same power to overcome.</p>

<p>A different life requires a switch in preference.</p>

<p>When we sit at the table of The King we are given an everlasting identity. Through His power and grace we are made new, but what does this look like? What is our role in the process of finding our identity in Christ? Watch this week’s message to dig deeper into these questions as we close out the second chapter of 1 John and enter chapter 3!</p>

<p>When we sit at the table of The King we are reminded of our identity, renewed to do the work of The Kingdom, and staying seated at this table gives us the fellowship and growth opportunities to be sustained by His Love.</p>

<p>The call of Jesus is a call to permanence. It’s a call to take up residence and remain with the Father, Son, and Spirit. To remain is no doubt a challenge, but as John 2:12-17 shows, it’s an eternal reality worth entering in to.</p>

<p>Every table has a culture of conduct. Who prays? How many courses are there? Is food served buffet or family style. At the King's Table there is a certain conduct for those who dine with him. But it has little to do with how many courses are being served, rather its entirely focused on pursuing conduct that is congruent with the King himself.</p>

<p>When you are confused about our calling God invites you into a clarity - the result is a JOY-FILLED LIFE.</p>

<p>Our lives are filled with more than we know what to do with. What if faith was the center of all of it?</p>

<p>Caring for the widow and the orphan is not a suggestion, but rather a mandate that puts our faith on display. This is a call to turn our orthodoxy in orthopraxy, our beliefs into action. The foster care crisis in America is a solvable issue if the church is willing to enter into the hard places and care for God’s children and families.</p>

<p>In the final week of our series, “Living Stones,” Pastor Nirup teaches us that God is ready to reach the world if we are ready to be used in the process.</p>

<p>There is too much at stake for the church not to call the people of God to the standard of gospel-centered formation through biblical membership.</p>

<p>t’s time to release what we have received.</p>

<p>Prayer is less about what we say to God and more about the power we experience of God. The enemy fears nothing more than when we pray.</p>

<p>It seems that at every level of society, service is valued. Corporate America, public education, and even the Church look for ways to display their benevolence. But could it be, that something is missing? Not merely good practice, but the very heart behind service.</p>

<p>“Presence Is Not An Accessory Of Love; Presence Is The Foundation Of Love.”<br><br>In a world where people are less present; in the same room yet alone; longing for connection yet committed to no one - we are called to be present as a posture of love.</p>

<p>God wants you to see that you matter to Him and His people. <br><br>In this first message of the series, “Living Stones,” Pastor Nirup sets the stage for how we are called not only to belong to Jesus, but to one another in order to become who God has called us to be.</p>

<p>There now lies an empty grave where death once reigned. This empty grave is now the anchor of our lives, reminding us and generations to come that whatever may come in this life we have a resurrection power available to us in Christ Jesus. In His life, death and resurrection, Jesus established the rule of His Kingdom which assures of an eternal life of joy that is experience here and now and in the life to come. His resurrection is our promise that death does not have the final say.</p>
