Steve Taylor PhD is the author of 13 books on psychology and spirituality, and is a senior lecturer in psychology at Leeds Beckett University. His new book is Extraordinary Awakenings: When Trauma Leads to Transformation investigates the phenomena of awakenings that occur after trauma. How psychological suffering can often be a catalyst to an expansive identity and shift in consciousness. Eckhart Tolle has described his work as 'an important contribution to the shift in consciousness which is happening on our planet at present.'
