In this episode, we talked with Jordan Last, Co-Founder of Demergent Labs.
Jordan is a full-stack software developer focused on the web, distributed systems, blockchain, security, and open source. Is one of the most important developers on the ICP Ecosystem and his contribution to improve ICP Blockchain is tremendous. Demergent Labs is building TypeScript, GraphQL, and Python for the Internet Computer.
Demergent Labs is removing barriers to entry, making it extremely simple for developers to come over to the Internet Computer and write decentralized applications that take advantage of its unique characteristics and benefits over centralized cloud providers and other layer-1 protocols.
Their thesis is simple: By focusing on the technologies that are really working well in the Web2 world, they believe they can accelerate the adoption of Web3. They can also greatly improve some of the technologies that made Web2 great
They are starting off with three flagship projects: Azle (TypeScript CDK), Sudograph (GraphQL Database), and Kybra (Python CDK).
