Show Notes

In the episode number thirteen, we talked with Andrew Chepreghy, Developer Relations Engineer at DFINITY Foundation and one of the main forerunners of the SNS-1 DAO on Internet Computer.

A Decentralized Autonomous Organization, or DAO for short, is a system that allows many parties to jointly control an entity. Similarly to how the Network Nervous System (NNS) is the open tokenized DAO that controls the Internet Computer blockchain (IC), Service Nervous Systems (SNSs) are algorithmic DAOs that allow developers to create decentralized, token-based governance systems for their dapps.

You can't miss this episode where Andrew answers all our questions about the launch of the first DAO on Internet Computer: Purpose, Tokenomics, Governance, SNS-1 airdrop, difference between SNS DAO on Internet Computer and other blockchains, technical aspects of SNS launch and much more...

You can found the letter in the SNS-1 dapp canister here: https://sqbzf-5aaaa-aaaam-aavya-cai.ic0.app/

This letter will be a reminder of the first steps on an exciting journey towards a truly decentralized Internet :)
