Show Notes

Erin Barry is a divorced mom of three adult kiddos with a combined family and now a mom of 6 with a new baby granddaughter. She is a life coach working to help people find their real, authentic selves. She lives in Minnesota and is a soccer referee and enjoys doing that with her daughter. She was 27 when she had her first and has enjoyed watching them all become adults. Her biggest challenge as a mom has been mental health and chronic hives with one of her kiddos. Trying to manage those issues and having NO control of the issues is so hard as a mom. As moms, we are supposed to be the ones who "fix" things and sometimes we just can't. She had a lot of great support through her family when she was having her babies because she lived close enough to them. With a mom who was a daycare provider, she was blessed to have her as the caretaker of her kids. It was always important to her that her kids have good relationships with each other and listening to them empower each other is part of her favorite parts of being a mama. She wishes she would have known about time adjustments needed to be made when you have children. You might think you are busy now but just wait! Breastfeeding isn't natural for everyone and sometimes outside pressures made her feel like she didn't have a choice and it was terrible. She wants moms to know that creating traditions is important and those are some of her best memories. Create your own traditions and cherish them. Also, have grace with yourself, especially with life balance. You need to foster relationships, especially with yourself. You can find Erin at liveyourtruthjouney.com
