Evangelist Dwight Moody famously said “the world does not understand theology or dogma, but it understands love and sympathy.” Jesus made this point very clear when he told his disciples “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” The Bible tells us that God’s love for us is unconditional and He longingly desires for us to love Him back. But like our earthly love relationships, there are conditions to meet to stay in a relationship.
