Show Notes

She may have sold over 16 million copies of her books, but Tom Gates creator and utterly brilliant dyslexic storyteller, Liz Pichon, didn’t start writing til her forties. Now she uses her Dyslexic Thinking to create books that ALL kids – especially dyslexic kids – just ADORE with their mix of pictures, stories, jokes and doodles. Like many dyslexics, she has hundreds of ideas – but how does she get them down on paper? Listen in to find out her tricks and tips for young storytellers, why she’s proud to tell kids she’s dyslexic and hear her tremendous fail – involving the brilliant film, Jaws, and her old English teacher. A brilliant lesson not to bunk off from.
