31-year-old repeat sex offender, Zacharie Hall, from Castle Donington, received a heavy sentence for attempting to pay a teenage girl for sex. Hall, who had a history of similar offenses, engaged in explicit messages with a decoy named Tilly, sent lewd photos, and discussed sexual acts. Despite his defense citing mental health issues, the judge imposed a four-year and eight-month prison term, with a minimum of two-thirds to be served. Hall will also be under strict supervision for four years and four months, and is subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and life on the sex offenders register.
