A few lawsuits alleging fraud based on the actual sizes of 2x4s at Home Depot and Menard's were thrown out, but a lawsuit brought by the state of California against Lowe's was settled and Lowe's agreed to relabel their dimensional lumber to avoid confusion in the future.
