With huge implications for Trump and the other 18 Georgia co-defendants, the 11th Circuit court of appeals has asked for a lightening round of briefing to decide whether Judge Jones was correct in denying Mark Meadows’ removal bid. In particular the Clerk has asked the parties to brief a question not raised by either party or the judge, whether you have to be a current federal officer in order for removal.
