Show Notes

Rachel Kapp, M.Ed., BCET, and Stephanie Pitts, M.Ed., BCET welcome a parent of one of Stephanie’s clients at My Ed Therapist. Sarah is the mother of Finn, a 10th grader, who has had a very emotional journey in Educational Therapy. Finn was an elite athlete who was struggling to balance his sport and academics. Sarah shares how she partnered with Steph (even when it was hard). Steph shares how difficult it was to build trust with Finn, how she established communication with Finn outside of sessions, and how he learned to trust and partner with her. She also shares how transformative Educational Therapy has been for her whole family.
