Show Notes
Rachel Kapp, M.Ed., BCET, and Stephanie Pitts, M.Ed., BCET, welcome Deanna Tayag to the podcast. Deanna is a learning specialist at Kapp Educational Therapy Group who really prioritizes the social-emotional connection with learners to help them to be vulnerable and explore their own learning profiles. Through a discussion about two fictional clients (Monica, a middle school student, and Chandler, a high school student), she talks about how important professional and parental collaboration is without perpetuating blame onto the learner. She also talks about the importance of scaffolding and how interventions being collaborative is essential.
