But when a believer’s hope is anchored in the inerrant Word of God—as it was for Simeon in Luke 2—there is no room for disillusionment. God always fulfills His promises. Dr. Youssef calls every disciple of Jesus Christ to reject worldly comparisons, trust in the divine promises of Scripture, and live in daily expectation of Christ’s return. Anything less is spiritual folly.
