In Part 3 of Healthy Living in a Sick World, Dr. Michael Youssef confronts the tragedy of spiritual immaturity in the Church. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 2, he warns that many believers settle for shallow faith when God calls them to maturity and power. The problem is not lack of knowledge, but surrender to the flesh—*sarx*—instead of submission to the Holy Spirit. True wisdom does not come from human effort but from the Spirit who authored the inerrant Word of God. Dr. Youssef calls believers to repent of compromise, reject spiritual complacency, and seek daily filling of the Holy Spirit. Only then can the Church discern the mind of Christ, stand firm in Truth, and intercede effectively in a sick and dying world.
