For any book, there is so much that goes on behind the scenes to put those books in the hands of the readers. I got a firsthand look at it while I was working on publishing my book, Take the Lead.

Today on Leading Lady, I sat down with Hannah Kates, the CEO and chief editor at Lofthouse Publishing. She is my editor and dear friend and the whole reason that my book, Take The Lead, even made it out into the world.

Hannah is passionate about empowering others with publishing in an ethical way. There's a huge need for better publishing and she is doing what she can to improve it as much as possible.
