We all need a hearty helping of resiliency when it comes to food, nutrition, and body image. The truth is, we live in a toxic diet culture where we are inundated with messages telling us our bodies aren't good enough or that we are projects that need to be fixed.
We are constantly confronted with unrealistic body ideals and endlessly told that we need to lose weight in order to be healthier and happier or to feel more comfortable and confident.
All of this messaging can make healthy eating overly complicated, stressful, anxiety-inducing, or guilt-inducing. This can make us mistrust our bodies. It's no wonder that we are having a hard time feeling resilient when it comes to our food and eating.
