A series of text messages allegedly sent by YNW Melly, born Jamell Demons, were presented in the rapper’s double murder trial. The prosecution alleges these messages link Melly to the “Bloods” gang and were sent from a phone they claim was near the victims’ phones that night of the killings. Melly stands accused of gunning down two of his friends and staging the murders as a drive-by shooting.
