White House officials are worried. Amid serious National security concerns, Trump’s legal team cannot answer who had access to the Mar-a-Lago storage room where classified documents were retrieved. Former Acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney is among the 18 former Trump officials who say the former president’s claim of having a standing order to declassify documents is patently false. He tells Alisyn Camerota why the claim is so ludicrous and discusses his experience of how Trump handled classified documents.

Plus, as the country heads towards the midterms, the panel discusses how the Democrats are banking on legislative wins for a November rebound and Mitch McConnell’s playing down of the GOP Senate takeover chances. And, six parents of elementary school students join CNN Tonight to talk about their worries their kids will be victims of a school shooting, solutions to gun violence, and arming teachers with guns.

Hosted by Alisyn Camerota.
