Realtors are self-employment income and are private contractors they usually deal with some issues. First, we want to look at the difference between self-employed consultant or outside contractor employee. Employee is when punch in a punch card and at the end of the two weeks you get a paycheck. When you received that paycheck your federal holdings, Medicare and social security is taking out and the employer is providing mostly all items an employee would need. However, an independent contractor they are both the employee and employer they are responsible for what is called self-employment taxes which is your federal and Medicare. Stay tune to hear more!
