A Las Vegas woman, Shamika Black, faces felony charges for animal cruelty after abandoning her daughters sick pit bull, leaving it to die from neglect and starvation. Black claimed she couldnt afford to have the dog put down humanely. The dog was found skin and bones, with a growing tumor, on January 27th. Blacks court date is April 21st.
