Show Notes
40-year-old Roderick Duke was arrested in North Las Vegas after allegedly assaulting his daughters mother, abducting their 10-month-old daughter, and threatening to harm the baby and himself. An AMBER Alert was issued, but the child was found safe at Dukes apartment, and he was in custody by 10:05 a.m. The incident began at an apartment complex near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue, where the mother called 911 from a neighbors phone after Duke took their phones and left with the baby. Dukes phone was traced to a friends place, but he refused to return home. He was charged with first-degree kidnapping, child abuse or neglect, and domestic battery, and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on March 24th.
