Eddie Mushawevans, a 46-year-old inmate at Southern Desert Correctional Center, has passed away at MountainView Hospital. Serving a three to eight year sentence for trafficking a controlled substance, Mushawevans was transferred from the Clark County Detention Center in November. The cause of death remains unknown, with an autopsy requested to determine the circumstances. The Nevada Department of Corrections is investigating the matter.
