Despite Total Direct Energie doing their best to reduce the gap to the breakaway from 5 minutes to 90 seconds on today's stage 14 of the Vuelta a Espana 2020, the rest of the teams in the peloton did not help them out of either apathy or self-interest with a rider up the road in the breakaway.
