In order to truly understand the Japanese one must live amongst them. Even so, as I continue to discover layer upon layer of the complex society, a lifetime of learning and growth. One important thing to truly understand after living here for all of my adult life; you can live among them, but, unless you have Japanese DNA, you will never be of them. Regardless, based upon my experience in Japan I have come to a deep understanding their mindset, and the inner working of this incredibly unique society.
