As Nigeria hosts a high-level National Dialogue on Migration with the EU this month, two German deportation flights got quietly scheduled, one has landed at Ikeja already. Kolawole Falodun spoke to investigative journalist Frey Lindsay, activist Rex Osa who runs a shelter for deportees in Lagos, and two individuals forcibly returned: Richie (deported from his workplace in 2022) and Wealth (sent back in 2024 despite serious health issues).
