Mel, an orphan who found his way to Lagos, met Yana, a divorced woman running from domestic violence. Yana helped Mel find shelter, and they lived together. Mel excelled at work and recommended Yana to his boss, who eventually fell in love with her. Despite their affair, Yana is now engaged to Mel's boss. Mel is torn and wants Yana back, believing they are soulmates. He's considering blowing their cover to win her back.
