Talked with Doug Happel, city council member in District 12, who is running to retain that seat against Keonte Turner. We discussed taxes in La Crosse, as well as a external police oversight committee. After that, former UW-L political science prof. Joe Heim joined and also talked some taxes and the full-time Wisconsin state Legislature, which hasn't passed a bill of any type since April 16.
