The 3rd Annual Ocean Life Symposium was organized by Mendonoma Whale and Seal Study and KGUA Public Media. It was broadcast on KGUA in Gualala, and streamed online at their Youtube page, and included a week of presentations by local and national experts about the health of our oceans.

She is also a founding member of the Mendocino Diversity, Equity & and Inclusion Task Force, formed in 2020 following community outcry regarding disparities magnified during the Pandemic. In addition, she is the program manager for the Promotores de Salud de Nuestra Alianza de Willits.
