Byline Mendocino: Peter Pomerantsev on the Purpose of Disinformation and Conspiracy Theories

He’s the author of Nothing is True, Everything is Possible, which explores the development and use of Tactical disinformation campaigns in Russia, and his latest book This is NOT Propaganda, looking at the expansion of information warfare around the world. They talk about how disinformation works to sow confusion and mistrust, and why people are vulnerable to it.
