Dit jaar is een jubileumjaar voor dirigent Ton Koopman. In oktober werd hij 75 jaar oud, zijn Amsterdam Baroque Choir bestaat 35 jaar en zijn Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra 40 jaar. Om dat te vieren gaat Koopman op tournee door Europa met het Weihnachts Oratorium van Bach. In december staat hij twee keer in Nederland.
