Filmproducer Sandra Beerends maakt haar debuut als regisseur met haar documentaire ‘Ze noemen me Baboe’. Over het levensverhaal van de Javaanse Alima, die in de jaren veertig werkt als baboe (kindermeisje) voor een Nederlandse familie. De film ging in première tijdens IDFA 2019 en kreeg de prijs voor Beste Documentaire tijdens het DOK.fest 2020.
