<p>De Palestijns-Nederlandse fotograaf en filmmaker Sakir Khader focust zich op de relatie tussen leven en dood in conflictgebieden, met name in het Midden-Oosten. Tot 14 mei is zijn eerste museale solotentoonstelling ‘Yawm al-Firak’, Arabisch voor ‘Dag van het Afscheid’, te zien in fotomuseum Foam in Amsterdam. Khader mag zich sinds 2024 fotograaf noemen bij Magnum, een van de meest prestigieuze fotoagentschappen ter wereld. </p>
