Babs Gons schrijft het Boekenweekgedicht 2021: Polyglot. Ze staat bekend als dé koningin van de spoken word en heeft ervoor gezorgd dat deze podiumkunst ook in ons land meer erkenning heeft gekregen. De Amsterdamse schrijfster, columnist en theatermaakster ontving al eerder de Black Achievement Award in de categorie Kunst en Cultuur voor haar jarenlange werk binnen de culturele sector.
