Op 2 april verschijnt Alfred Birneys nieuwe boek, ‘Niemand Bleef. Dagboek van meneer B. 2005 – 2011’. Een verslag van Birney ten tijde van herstel waarin voorbije liefdes, familie, inspiraties en irritaties voorbij komen. Ook wordt in dit dagboek de aanloop en de maak van Birneys vorige roman ‘De tolk van Java’ beschreven waarmee hij in 2017 de Libris Literatuurprijs won.
