De nieuwe documentaire ‘Alex Roeka, engel en beest’ is een openhartig portret van de lang onderschatte singer-songwriter Alex Roeka. Na een poging om dichter te worden, zoekt de 50-jarige laatbloeier zijn heil in het Nederlandstalige lied. Zijn nummers gaan veelal over verloren liefdes en andere pijnlijke kwesties.
