Al lijkt het nog zo traditioneel, dit Afrikaanse stoofpotje is eigenlijk toch vooral Amerikaans gekruid. Qua recept is deze wel van hoog niveau, dankzij koks met veel ervaring, een gietijzeren kom CS80-blazers in een GS-1-sausje, een kruidenzakje met dé 4 akkoorden, een snuifje Stevie Wonder-solo, een gong (echt!) en een wolkje goed bedoelde cultural appropriation.
