Casey House Pop Up June's HIV+ Eatery with Kenneth Poon
Kenneth Poon, Educator and one of the 14 cooks that participated in the Casey House pop up called June’s HIV+ Eatery and one of Canada’s first HIV positive restaurants helping eliminate stigma and educate people on HIV/Aids. A survey conducted by Casey House found that a surprising 50% of Canadians would not eat food prepared by someone who is HIV-positive. To battle these findings, Casey House and these cooks educate us and guests of June's HIV+ Eatery on what it means to be HIV-positive today.
