This month I chat to Catherine all about the importance of cervical screening to raise awareness for cervical cancer prevention week which was 22nd-28th January 2024. Catherine, due to relocating had missed a couple of cervical screens and ended up with abnormal cells in the cervix which had to be removed due to the pre-cancerous stage they were at. Cat very openly shares her story about what she went through with the aim of raising awareness and encouraging others to attend their cervical screens as a way of preventing cervical cancer.
