Show Notes
Out from behind the paywall is the first episode of our new weekly series, King Me Babies, in which we discuss short films produced as part of Stephen King's Dollar Baby program. You've probably heard us mention the Dollar Babies on the show: since the late '70s, Stephen King has allowed independent filmmakers to produce non-commercial adaptations of select works of his for the low, low price of one dollar. In addition to giving us the opportunity to discuss Frank Darabont's first-ever film (available now on Patreon), we also get to reassess some stories already produced as commercial films. In the most technical sense, The Lawnmower Man is one such story.
