Show Notes

We're going back to our roots for the first of two Carrie remakes coming up. This Carrie from 2002 is a TV movie that seemingly goes out of its way to flatten the symbolism of the original--which is weird, considering it's written by Bryan Fuller of American Gods, Pushing Daisies, and Hannibal fame. (Fucking Hannibal!) To its credit, TV Carrie avoids the mistake Brian De Palma made of spinning the camera around and spending, like, three hours on unfunny teen boys trying on tuxedos.
