Vanessa was a star student and a 20-year-old US Army soldier at the Fort Hood Military Base in Killeen, Texas. But on April 20, 2019, Vanessa disappeared without a trace from the base, ending her promising career. Savannah actually spoke with the family and uncovers some details surrounding Vanessa's disappearance, including how Gloria Guillen, Vanessa's mother, claims that Vanessa confided in her that she had been routinely sexually harassed by a sergeant just a few weeks before going missing. Savannah also explains how COVID-19 has hindered further investigation into her disappearance and has virtually blocked Vanessa's family from entering the base to find some answers.
