But first, Amrita talks about Meghana Gulzar’s SAM BAHADUR (03.06) starring Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub and others. The movie belongs to Vicky who is shaping up to be the most interesting and perhaps most successful star of his generation but is that enough to save this movie?
And then we go straight into our main review of Sandeep Vanga Reddy’s Animal (19.24) starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandana, Bobby Deol and others. Once again, this is a movie anchored by the bravura performance of its lead actor but there’s a lot to discuss with this one.
