"Favourite Distraction" is a term of endearment given to EB by his wife. When his long-time collaborator and producer KYMAC suggested that he explore house music, EB was excited to do so. He pushed his boundaries by replacing a sung verse with a rap style, which he hadn't experimented with in a decade. The result is a playful song that tells a story of infatuation and how it can consume one's focus entirely.
