Think about the cringe factor that comes with the word "proselytize." It carries the same stigma as the word "evangelize." Evangelism is often viewed as intrusive, coercive, and crass. As a result, sharing your faith becomes a scary prospect. When choosing between being accepted by others and sharing the good news, too often Christians choose silence. Additionally, all the forces of hell are set against those who seek to reach out with the good news of Jesus.
