At a special meeting held on Thursday (19th Februrary), Kilkenny County Council recommended the refusal of Manogate Ltd's planning application to develop 10 wind turbines and associated works.
However, the ultimate decision will rest with An Coimisiun Pleanala come June or July of this year.
Speaking to KCLR News, local Councillor Ger Frisby outlined why he felt the Council had reached such a conclusion.
