Tragic Accident: Twin-Engine Plane Crashes Near St. Louis, Killing Pilot Edward Ruhbeck
A twin-engine plane, registered to Central Airlines, crashed near St. Louis, killing the pilot, Edward Ruhbeck. The plane took off from Spirit of St. Louis Airport and was bound for Kansas City. Flight data showed the aircraft turning back toward the runway before crashing short of the landing area. The National Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation into the cause.
