Troy Anderson, a seasoned city manager with over two decades of experience, has been selected as the new city manager for Independence, Missouri. Currently serving as assistant city manager in Wichita, Anderson will bring his expertise in planning, economic growth, and partnerships to the role. He will start on April 13th, following a nationwide search that attracted 36 applicants from 17 states. Andersons appointment is set to be formally approved at the city council meeting on March 16th.
