Show Notes
Olathe residents, especially low-income homeowners and veterans, can now benefit from the citys Residential Property Tax Assistance Program. This initiative offers rebates of up to $750 on the city portion of this years tax bill, with applications open until June 30, 2025, or until the $250,000 budget is exhausted. Last year, the program helped 432 households, with half being veterans. The city launched this program to alleviate tax pressures and has also reduced the mill levy in recent years to maintain affordability.
